One of our core values here at the Paddle Station is the environment. We want to provide you with experiences that are sustainable which means putting in an effort to protect the water that we are floating down.  We are dedicated to looking after our community while being conscious of our efforts as a sustainable, environmentally friendly business.

We like to partner up with local charities and foundations that have the same values as we do. For our water conservation efforts, we work with Trout Unlimited Canada to support their mission and work. Their mission is to conserve, protect and restore Canada’s freshwater ecosystems and their coldwater resources for current and future generations.

Whenever we can, we donate free paddles or funds to TUC events, its a cause we hold dear to our hearts and want to educate the public on. They have different across Canada and the Bow River Chapter obviously hits the closest to home. How boring would our summers be without the Bow? The Bow River Chapter works with Trout Unlimited Canada staff, with local government and industry support, to plan and implement projects including habitat improvement, fish monitoring, education, and advocacy in the Bow River Basin. It includes the mainstream that we like to raft down, but the chapter also focuses on tributaries such as Fish Creek, Nose Creek, the Lower Elbow River, Highwood River, and Sheep River.

If you hang with us on the Bow, you know you’re supporting the environment and efforts to protect our beloved Canadian waters.

PS. The countdown to summer is on. Our first raft will be May long – save the date. #YourRiverisWaiting
